SwimLine UV - UV disinfection / chloramine reduction

The SwimLine UV^® unit is an UV unit to be used in (hotel) pools and spas.

The unit uses the unique Berson polychromatic lamp technology, bersonMultiWave^®, in the "in-line" construction. The bersonMultiWave^® lamp technology has proven, in the past decade, to be excellent in reducing bounded chloramines. The typical "chlorine smell" often experienced in pools will disappear very quick after installing SwimLine UV.

SwimLine UV is the first UV unit used in pools with "lamp switch" possibility. The "lamp switch" varies the quantity of UV lamps in operation. During peak and off-peak periods, lamps can be switched on and off. This means that pools save money by reducing the energy consumption, while the water quality remains as required according to regulations.

All SwimLine UV units are equipped with continuous UV control of the UV lamp, ensuring an optimal UV output during operation and temperature control of the pool water inside the unit.

Due to the "in-line" construction of SwimLine UV the headloss is very low and installation costs are limited. SwimLine UV is installed very easily in vertical and horizontal pipelines, within a few hours.

A useful added benefit of SwimLine UV is the inactivation of harmful, chlorineresistant micro-organisms like Pseudomonas and Legionella in pool and spa water. Chlorine dosing can be reduced, the amounts of trihalomethanes and chloramines will go down.
